Max Payne 3 (Rockstar Games Vienna)

From June 2005 to June 2006, I moved from England to live and work in Vienna, Austria for Rockstar Games, working on Max Payne 3 for the XBOX360 and PS3.
Using Maya, I was part of the environment art team creating dirty outdoor street scenes and garage interiors to plush hotel rooms and corridors, I also had the responsibilty in making props and vehicles which we then had to place around the game world.
Due to my experience in doing effects on Black & White 2, I was later given the task to work on the in-game visual effects such as the muzzle flashes, gun smoke, and impact effects using Rockstars' in-house tools.
Unfortunately in the summer of 2006, Take2 decided to close the Rockstar Vienna offices, and the game was transfered over to be developed by Rockstar Vancouver. I on the other hand moved back to England.
